Impressed is an unconventional trophy combining a handblown glass dome with cardboard and cork elements. Like on a wine bottle, the cork is simply plugged into the dome. It is topped with a cardboard piece—brown for gold, grey for silver—with a cut-out shape showing the award category.
Working with traditional glassblowing was central to the concept, ensuring that each piece is handmade and slightly different, as individual as the project and people it honours.
The award symbol, pressed into the glass with a custom metal stamp, becomes a poetic mark, echoing how designers leave their imprint on every creation.
